Introducing one of the finest books to look out next year – Jane Harper’s The Lost Man tops my list! This is also my current read over the weekend, so watch this space for my detailed review coming very soon! Here is the Blurb of the book for you to enjoy. The book will available to Pre-order soon, so get ready for the Thriller feast!
Plot:
Two brothers meet at the remote fence line separating their cattle ranches in the lonely outback. In an isolated belt of Queensland, they are each other’s nearest neighbor, their homes a four hours’ drive apart.
The third brother lies dead at their feet.
Something caused Cam, the middle child, who had been in charge of the family homestead, to die alone in the middle of nowhere.
So the eldest brother returns with his younger sibling to the family property and those left behind. But the fragile balance of the ranch is threatened. Amid the grief, suspicion starts to take hold, and the eldest brother begins to wonder if more than one among them is at risk of crumbling as the weight of isolation bears down on them all.

“Harper continues the intense plotting and detail for characters and setting that she established in The Dry.” —Associated Press
“[Harper] is such a good storyteller… The ease with which she shifts points of view and somehow makes disagreeable people sympathetic is special. So is her skill at ratcheting up the suspense. Harper, anything but a flash in the pan, has again raised the bar for emerging crime writers.” —Chicago Tribune
