The Hike by Lucy Clarke has been on my TBR for so long since I’d absolutely enjoyed the author’s previous thriller The Castaways. Turns out, the author is really good in handling multiple POVs and unique locations. In this case, Clarke makes use of the white wilderness of Norway and its snowclad mountains to her advantage, making it a perfect location for her thrilling story.
Four old friends set about to hike the Norwegian mountain in this new thriller by Lucy Clarke. What follows is a series of revelations of age old secrets between the ladies as they struggle to climb the wild snow. Meanwhile, there’s something else going on in the small community that will soon affect the hikers. Something dangerous.
This is a perfect book you’ll need for a leisurely holiday. Sit back and take in the landscape and get to know the ladies and their adventurous mission and hope to God they make it back in one piece.
