I loved the plot – it had ‘fake date/relationship’ in its plotline. Smooth Talking Cowboy is the first book in the Golden Valley Series by American author Maisey Yates.
Olivia is a delicate young woman who dreams of marrying a cowboy one day and living her life in a farmhouse. She is elegant and fragile and freshly out of a relationship because her ex-boyfriend hadn’t ask to marry him. On the other hand, we have Luke – a ruggedly handsome man and a well known womanizer in the town and also close friends with the Dodge family. They are complete opposites yet everything changes with a single kiss that was meant to make ex-boyfriend Bennett jealous.
What follows is a series of cute fights and misunderstandings between the charming two that Maisey aces effortlessly. Lookout for the adorable epilogue. If you are a sucker for breathtaking erotica and cutish romance, then you can totally rely on Maisey and her books!
