Swathi’s Thoughts
So when Liv loses her corporate job due to a sudden change in policy by her employer, she becomes jobless. Just when she was looking for a super duper promotion at the same company, she ends up being taken off due to over qualification. What happens to her fancy corporate lifestyle? Surely she can afford a few more days of luxury with the payment they are giving her and how difficult is it to find another job? Well, it’s too tough that she ends up working as a barmaid in a hotel recommended by her ex-boss. It’s a complete let down financially but then her BFF Dylan insists that she has to be working in order to keep up her flat and simultaneously find a suitable job.
But the job at the bar is so much contrast to her corporate experience. Her colleagues here are so honest and down to earth. Especially Reyes who is instantly likeable with her silly English and young and gorgeous Josh who gives Liv summersaults to her stomach.
Soon she is having a good time but that’s not just enough. So with the help of Dylan she sets up her own online blog to follow her passion to write about the things she loves. And it becomes an instant hit.
This is a cute, funny and uplifting story that I loved reading every minute of it. The books oozes positivity, happiness and urges one to follow the passion and live life to full extent. Nina Kaye writes a light hearted, humorous read which has everything to make you smile all along and cherish the characters long after you’ve turned the last page. I wish I had friends like Dylan and Reyes in my life.
Many thanks to Rachel for having me on the #BlogTour for this book. Digital galley supplied by the publisher in exchange for my honest opinion.
