Qotd: What's the first thing you notice when you'r Qotd: What's the first thing you notice when you're trying to choose thrillers?

Me, I'm definitely a look-at-thecover-first kinda person. Next comes the plot and setting of course!! Oh do not forget to learn more about the books by reading some honest reviews from our beloved reviewers! 😉🤗📚

Let's talk books. To me, settings matter a lot when it comes to thrillers. One of the best entertaining trope is setting a thriller on a Plane where you're practically confined and locked with several strangers and you're flying above air. So, there's zero escape, unless you're about to crash and fall down. Now that's a whole different angle with so many promising Twists!!! It's the most unpredictable setting and completely dangerous to imagine, especially when you're boarding a flight next time. 😱🕵️🫣

My favourite books of this particular trope are featured here:

▪️#freefall by @jessicabarry9

▪️#thecastaways by @lucyclarke_author

▪️#thelastflight by @julieclarkauthor

▪️#hostage by @claremackwrites

All these are fantastic 5 ⭐ gems that I absolutely enjoyed reading. Have you read any of these? Do you have a book to suggest from this trope? I'd love to read some new ones, please!! 🥺

Happy reading folks!! 📚💖

Thoughts 💭

Andrea Mara is a gem of an author and I'm so glad I picked to read No One Saw A Thing because it was truly entertaining and I completely enjoyed reading it.

What starts with a child vanishing into a busy tube with thousands of people in the way, soon turns to chaos and panic and the clock is ticking until the parents and police try to find the child alive.

Meanwhile, we get to know more about the weird group of old friends, their current reunion, their old days together as housemates and what happened back then. There's so much history there and it's quite obvious that they won't even glance at each other, had they met at any other part of their lives.

The ending was rushed, but with solutions to all the cliffhangers, leaving me satisfied and happy. Again, a good book to devour in a single sitting. It's not too dark, yet not shallow either. Just the perfect popcorn thriller!!

So, what are you reading now? 📚🤗
