• Book Recommendation | Three Hours ~ Rosamund Lupton

Three hours is 180 minutes or 10,800 seconds. It is a morning's lessons, a dress rehearsal of Macbeth, a snowy trek through the woods. It is an eternity waiting for news. Or a countdown to something terrible. It is 180 minutes to discover who you will die for and what men will kill for. In the middle of a blizzard, the unthinkable happens: a school is under siege. Told from the point of view of the people at the heart of it, from the wounded headmaster in the library, unable to help his trapped pupils and staff, to teenage Hannah in love for the first time, to the parents gathering desperate…

  • The Higher Purpose Of Marriage

Most of us have the vaguest idea about life and future. We all these superficial, almost-fantasy dreams, don’t we? That’s the beauty of dreams. They can be absolutely superficial, and not every dream has to come true!

  • All the best Netflix TV series worth watching right now

Hey guys! I have been away for a week, and guess what I’ve been doing? I’ve got myself cozied up with a bunch of reader’s copies of brand new books, and a handful of shows on the beloved NETFLIX. Now, Netflix is one hot shot, isn’t it? Surely, it offers something for everyone. But, the catalogue is vast, and you’re most likely to end up watching something boring, and then quit after few minutes of watching. That’s why you’ll need a guide of TV shows or movies or documentaries. There is also a lot of hype going on, and surely, you’d have heard a lot of reviews about every show…

  • What Did You Learn This Year?

As we are mid way through the year, I thought I should sit back and do a little recap of what I’ve been doing for the past 6 months of 2018. It has been a rough path for me, with some ups and downs (understatement). Whether it’s small or not, I’m curious to know what’s been going on, and what could be done for a better half year ahead. I also love to hear from you, how you are, and how is your life. Sometimes sharing helps. Our wedding anniversary falls right in December, so we had a great start to the year by touring to the beaches of Andaman.…

  • What Makes You Go Crazy About Your Partner?

Sometime into our married life, I realised… … that as much as we love each other, there are so many little things that would drive us insane. For instance, my husband has this habit of keeping himself occupied all the time, from the minute he enters home, either with his mobile or his laptop. Or by doing speed cubing. Yes, he’s absolutely crazy about all kinds of speed cubing, including blindfolded (not as sexy as it sounds!), and one hand. He even has this headset to avoid any noise (apparently that’s me) while he’s solving them. Oops.

  • Relationship question :Are you similar or opposites?

When I first met my husband, my best friend pointed out something about me .. He said, “You were always searching for your ‘yin’ so that you could be ‘Yin and Yin’ in your life.” He told me, “You and your husband are Yin and Yang. ” He’s right. Before my husband came along ,I’ve always looked out for someone like me – straight forward, pre-planned, and futuristic. My husband on the other hand, couldn’t be more laid back and composed. As we fell in love and got married, that balance had become the key for our relationship. I’d freak the hell out, while he would stay totally calm, playing…

  • Book Review – Force of Nature – Jane Harper

Hey guys, I am back with the review of another amazing book I completed yesterday. I can’t wait to share my experiences with you! Force of Nature is the second in the Aaron Falk series by Jane Harper. If you’ve not read the first book, it’s okay. There is now background needed for the lead character, just the suspense keeps you up.

  • Marriage – a melody

Marriage! Wow that’s a huge thing to think of. At Least that’s what I thought, when I first heard the M word in my life. It could be life changing, no doubt in that. But to take in the right way, positive or negative, solely depends on the concerned two people. I am married for more than an year now, so you could call me a ‘newly married’ but I would call myself as a ‘newly experienced’ in the world of marriage! During the early days of my marriage, I’d just struggle to ‘make things happen’. But later I realized that’s it’s not as difficult as it seemed to be.…

  • Beauty of books

Reading has always been my favorite thing to do. It has been my good company through the years. I remember the early days, when I started reading. Many would say, it’s an obsession.
